Moving Brands—Motion Design as an element of Corporate Identity is a thesis about the relevance of Motion Design in the field of Brand Design.

In a digital era, dominated by moving pictures, the relevance of flexible, dynamic design systems, with a prospective focus on the field of corporate motion, increases. With the increasing trend of time-based media, motion design gains in relevance as an essential element of the corporate identity—and hence in the fields of brand communication, respectively design. The thesis debates the relevance of the discipline of motion design in the range of visual brand design. It deals with the communication of brand values by means of motion design, as well as with the integration of corporate motion into a holistic visual system. Based on the discussed issues from the theoretical part, a practical piece of work of a visual identity for »issyrey studio«, which integrates motion design as an essential element, was created. The Editorial Design refers to the visual identity of issyrey.
